Beach Cleanup with Surfrider Los Angeles and Lo-Fi Aperitifs
This summer, in the spirit of connecting like-minded communities while taking action for a cleaner coast, we were excited to join forces with Surfrider Foundation Los Angeles Chapter and Lo-Fi Aperitifs for a series of beach cleanups and after parties.
The first cleanup took place on Saturday, July 16 at Venice Beach, with both newcomers and long-time volunteers setting out into the sand — altogether collecting 83 pounds of trash, much of it plastic litter that could have stayed in our marine environment for generations.
Following the cleanup, everyone headed over to our sunny poolside hangout, Caravan Swim Club to spend the afternoon grooving out to eclectic jams, sipping on Lo-Fi Aperitifs’ perfectly chilled Grapefruit Hibiscus sparkling wine, and enjoying Baja-inspired summer bites from the CSC menu (with complimentary Raw Elements sunscreen that kept us basking outside ‘til sundown).
Be part of the movement: you’re invited to join us for our next beach cleanups and pool parties—
